The Radiology Institute at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu has 2 MRI devices. One is known as the so-called open 1 T device and the other is a high-field apparatus (3T). Thanks to these devices, we can offer you, within very reasonable time frames, various standard examinations as well as cardiac examinations, whole body examinations and functional examinations of the spine and joints as well as some more specific spectroscopy and tractography examinations and angio-MRI in so-called 4D temporal resolution.
The interventional radiology room is equipped with a " flat panel" device. This room satisfies all the safety criteria for an examination room and allows vascular and vertebral procedures to be carried out, especially under radiological monitoring.
A new examination room has been dedicated to all gastroenterological and urogenital radiological investigations. Together with the new osteoarticular room, this equipment is dedicated to all so-called “standard” radiological investigations carried out on the ground floor.
The senological suite with its digital mammography device and computer-aided diagnosis is also fitted with an ultrasonography device and adjoins the ultrasonography suite where the equipment for senological procedures is also located.
The scanner will be refurbished in 2008. This should enable us to carry out cardiac examinations in addition to all of the other indications currently practised.
Yet another plus factor
The Radiology Department is located on two levels, each one having a pleasant waiting room with an outside view and Internet access or a wide-screen TV. Each floor has a reception area and is equipped for the disabled.
The so-called standard examinations are carried out on the ground floor as are interventional radiology, mammography and ultrasonography procedures.
The scanning and MRI examinations are conducted in the basement.
